My work is a visual log of all that I have encountered, spanning the beautiful to the grotesque, the serious to the silly.  Each project is approached as a series of vignettes based on real and imagined memories. They develop into a newly coded and personal narrative with the intention of speaking to experiences beyond my own.  Visual engagements seem familiar and yet illusive.  Gaps and ambiguities keep us from feeling a sense of closure.  Fleeting thoughts of a character or space will go unanswered.  There are attempts at humor, tenderness, nostalgia, irreverence, and challenging authority.
